This year it was announced that the Madison will be included in the Olympics 2020, which is good news for Ireland, because our track team have had a phenomenal season in this event, winning a world cup gold and silver earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Track stars Felix English and Fintan Ryan will be hosting a Madison training day, accompanied by Cycling Ireland track coach Mark Kiely, on Monday 3rd July. This is for any CI member who has been accredited on the track. Entry is \u20ac10 – including bike rental.<\/p>\n

\nThis session will be a pre requisite \u00a0for participation in a Madison Demonstration Level Irish championship later in the year, and also you may be expected to undertake some further sessions to be passed as competent to participate . \u00a0It would be a good idea to bring your intended club-mate for the Madison
