In the Omnium events Ireland have two riders, Martyn Irvine and Jennifer O Reilly, racing in the finals. 

In Thursday's racing the women's team pursuit team of Ryan, O Reilly and Ciara Horne surpassed their event goal by achieving a time of 3min 31.7 seconds, to put them tenth overall, with a new national record. 

Young rider, Felix English, came a credible 13th place in the scratch race also, which is a great result for the rider, who is enjoying his last few days in the junior category!
