IVCA Track Championships : Kanturk |

Kevin Costner said in the movie Field of Dreams " If you build it they will come" and Dan Curtin has certainly proved this in Kanturk. They came from all over the country, from Down, Mayo, Waterford, Limerick, Kerry, Offaly, Meath, Wicklow and Dublin. A great turnout to try out the new track and try and run the weather postponed IVCA Track Championships condensed into a single day. The day started damp and the track took a while to dry out but a programme of 4 races for the all three age categories 60+, 50-59 and 40-49 was run.
