Saturday 12th June Eamonn Ceannt Stadium, Sundrive Road This year events will once again be run as a Omnium. Riders will be split by ability and we hope to run with three seperate categories in a similar fashion to our Track League. The event is open to all accrediteded Track riders from U16 up and bike hire will be available.
The events will be a follows - Flying 200m Time Trial
- Scratch Race
- Kilo Dash (max 8 riders per heat)
- Points Race
- Standing Start 500m TT
For the Time Trials riders will be marked against only those in their own category so in theory the Overall winner could come from any of the three categories as is the spirit in which event has always been run. We will also be using this event to select riders from the current national development squads to attend UK track meets. For this purpose eligable riders competing for places will also be marked against each other in all but the points race.
1030 - 1100 - Sign on
1100 - 1130 - Open Track Racing Starts at 11.30 Enrty Fee €10 The proposed events to which we will be sending Track Developments teams to are
7/8th July Dudley GP (Men U25s & Women)
10/11th August - Meadowbank Grand Prix (Juniors)
