VOLUNTEER COACHES & MANAGERS FOR ELITE JUNIOR SQUAD WANTED
 
Cycling Ireland is actively seeking 5 enthusiastic and dedicated individuals with a strong background in development of junior riders to fill the following VOLUNTARY roles:
 
·         Elite Junior Squad Manager Track
·         Elite Junior Squad Manager Road
·         Elite Assistant Squad Girls Coach Road
·         Elite Assistant Squad Boys Coach Road
·         Elite Assistant Coach Track (coaching both girls and boys)
 
If you would like to be part of creating the future pathways of Ireland’s up and coming junior riders, we invite you to become a part of the Cycling Ireland Elite Development Programme.
 
The successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal/organizational skills with a focus on quality athlete support and performance development. 
 
It is highly desirable that applying coaches should have current industry qualifications and previous coaching experience with youth or Junior athletes. Managers should have proven managerial skills with club, regional or national teams.
 
The appointed coaches and managers will be responsible to the National Development Coach.   While the position is voluntary, travel and accommodation at events and camps will be covered by the elite junior development programme.
 
The roles will require assistant coaches and managers to support to the National Development Coach with planning, organisation and delivery of national camps and events, from time to time there may be international travel required.
 
The roles will be voluntary positions and will be appointed for a 1 year term based on the successful candidates performance.
