The Cycling Ireland Board has approved a significant number of record claims at it’s December meeting. It was pleased to note that in the field of Para Cycling records continue to tumble at virtually every international track meeting in which the squad participates. This is particularly encouraging as London fast approaches.

Also Declan Lonergan’s long standing ‘Standing Start Kilometre’ record has at last been broken which indicates that the track training camps which are now being held by the High Performance Group are starting to pay off as this record had stood for some 13 years.
