The well drilled Sundrive Track Team retained their National title and notched up a new national best time for the event. They were pushed hard by the Lucan team who had the added incentive of the Track Club of the Year points and they finished ahead of a very impressive debut in the event from The Banbridge team. Once again a very popular event with over ten teams contesting honours in the mens event. |

Due to an unforseen clash of fixtures we have had to defer Round 2 of the Track Interprovincial which was set for Sunday 22nd August in Orangefied. We are seeking an alternate date and this will be announced soon. |

Lucan On Track In Manchester: LCRC Track Riders spent the weekend at Manchester Velodrome (July 30th / 31st) to support their Team mate in the European Masters Track Championships on Friday, followed by an intense full day of Track Training on Saturday.The club booked the famous Velodrome for two Coached Sessions in order to give our emerging Track riders the Indoor experience necessary for National development Team selection

Team Pursuit Demonstration Event Eamonn Ceannt Stadium, Sundrive Road Saturday 17th July 2010 It took a fair bit of patience and commitment from the assembled teams to with for the weather interupted Vets Omnium to finish. Irononic that we have had such a great run of weather and then two Saturdays in a row the rain came to test our resolve! |

National Veterans Track Omnium Championship Eamonn Ceannt Stadium, Sundrive Road Saturday 17th July 2010 Todays National Vets Track Omnium came right down to the wire with three riders within a point of each other coming into the final event the standing start 500m TT. Paul Kennedy (Swords), Brendan Whelan (Lucan) and Paul Doyle (Sundrive) dominated all preceeding events with a mere point seperating the riders coming into the final event. |
