Free Vo2 max test and medical / Participants for a research study required

We are seeking participants for a research study:

To determine the impact of consumption of super-oxygenated water on
post-exercise lactate clearance kinetics and subsequent exercise
performance

Who are we looking for?

Male athletes, ages 18- 35 yr who participate in cycling / triathlon at a
competitive level regularly (including 3 sessions per week), are injury
free and are not in the process of recovering from an injury.

What will I have to do?

You will be required to make 5 visits to the Human Performance
Laboratory in the Anatomy Department in Trinity College Dublin (Watts
Building)

Visit 1: Medical and familiarisation with equipment and a VO2 peak test
– approx. 60 min.

Visit 2-5: A series of sprints on a resistance bike, followed by
randomised recovery conditions including, passive and active recovery –
approx. 60 min.

How will I benefit?

You will receive a medical examination, a VO2 peak test, used to assess
your fitness indices and lactate blood response, which can be used to
potentially improve your training and performance.
